About Florida BRS
Florida Babe Ruth Softball (a Non-Profit 501c3 organization) is part of the national Babe Ruth League, which has been serving youth sports for decades. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for girls in Florida to learn the game of softball, improve their skills, and build lasting friendships through teamwork and sportsmanship.
We represent the largest state within Babe Ruth League, with regard to the number of Chartered Leagues and participating athletes. Local leagues are divided into 12 Districts throughout the state, each with an elected District Commissioner to support our mission.
Our Programs
We offer a range of programs to accommodate players of all ages and experience levels. Our divisions are designed to help young athletes progress at their own pace, whether they are just starting out or looking to compete at a higher level.
6 & Under (ages 4 – 6)

- This introductory division focuses on building basic skills, teamwork, and a love for the game.
8 &Under (ages 7 – 8)

- Players begin to learn more techniques, including hitting off a pitching machine or (Coach Pitch option available), fielding, and team strategy. This is the perfect division for girls who are ready to step up their game.

10 & Under (ages 9 – 10)

Coaches & Volunteers
We believe in the power of mentorship, and our coaches are dedicated to guiding players both on and off the field. All coaches are required to complete training through Babe Ruth League. In addition, Babe Ruth League requires the most comprehensive Background Screening and Abuse Training in the youth sports industry.
