Xtreme
Softball
Florida Babe Ruth Softball's Xtreme Division gives players the opportunity to receive focused instruction and compete against top-level competition — without committing to a full travel ball schedule or the financial burden that comes with it.
Focused instruction reinforcing proper fundamentals and teaching advanced concepts appropriate to each age group.
Compete against other top Babe Ruth leagues in your area and finish the season with a Championship Tournament.
Play at a higher level while remaining part of your recreation softball program — no full travel ball commitment required.
The Xtreme Division is a state-wide initiative facilitated by District Commissioners in partnership with participating leagues. Leagues form Xtreme teams from eligible players rostered within their recreation softball program.
Teams compete throughout the Xtreme season, then are seeded by Win/Loss record to compete in a Championship Tournament at season's end. All Xtreme games are governed by Florida Babe Ruth Softball Tournament rules.

Register for your local Babe Ruth recreation softball league in your district. Xtreme eligibility requires participation in the regular season program.
Reach out to your District Commissioner to confirm your district offers an Xtreme program and find out how your league participates.
Your league determines the selection process. Players are chosen from the recreation roster through tryouts, nominations, or a draft process.
Play double-headers every other Sunday, finish the season seeded by record, and compete in the Championship Tournament for the district title.
